The IDEA Lab was inaugurated on 31 January 2026 by the Chief Guest, Dr.T. G. Sitharam, former Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The inauguration ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ritual, followed by the Chief Guest’s visit to various lab facilities, where he interacted with students. A brief meeting with the institute’s management was subsequently held in the conference room.

The program concluded with the inaugural address delivered by the Chief Guest, along with the valedictory ceremony. On this occasion, the IDEA Lab brochure was also formally unveiled by the Hon’ble Chief Guest.
